1. Fill out your profile! Please, tell us more about yourself. If you don't fill it out, we might do it for you, and there's no telling how horrifically inaccurate it might be, or if we'll mention your 'special interest in horses'. So do it.
2. This forum is an English-language forum. All users are expected to have a working knowledge of proper English. We are not an IM chatroom; we expect some attempt at proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. If English is your second language, please at least note your country in your profile.
3. Posting in a 2+ month old thread, just to say something 'funny' and consisting of a single sentence or less is generally frowned upon. However if you wish to add some constructive discussion to an older thread, please do not hesitate to do so. 'Constructive discussion' does not include "lol awesome".
4. Unit patches and insiginia related to real units are not allowed unless you earned them. We have serving members in the team and on this board and it is only fair to them as well as other members of the armed forces worldwide. Members (including SNAFU team members) will be given ample warning if they fail to follow this guideline. If the image is not edited to have the rank/unit badge removed, the image will be deleted from the post. Note that if you do not have the ability to edit the post or image for whatever reason (MS Paint will suffice...) then you may ask a moderator or admin to do so for you.
5. Be prepared for constructive criticism. Also be prepared for piss-taking. Every member on these boards is here under the understanding that they take as good as they give, and no-one is immune. If you feel that a member is being genuinely aggressive and/or offensive, notify a moderator or forum admin. Be sure to make the distinction between aggression and sarcasm, though.
6. Posts may, and frequently probably will, contain swearing and/or nudity. No porn please, or it will be removed. Also, no sick shit - you might want to see it, but chances are no-one else does. TubGirl and Goatse fall into the category of 'sick shit'. That said, this is an adult forum, and if you're easily offended then this probably isn't the place for you.
7. STAY WITHIN THE LAW! If you break the law while posting, or advocate law-breaking, the post will be deleted/edited and you will be hung up for it, so please don't. This includes recent revisions to UK law regarding the sale of airsoft guns.
8. Enjoy the forums! That's a lot of rules, but they're just common sense - don't act like a total dumbass and you're more than welcome to post here, team member or not.
