SNAFU was originally founded in late 2005, as a means of allowing like-minded airsoft players, historical re-enactors and tactical gear collectors to both play and talk together, away from the often elitist nature of some other teams and websites.
Over the course of the two years, the team has grown to include over 40 players in 3 countries (UK, US and Norway). The team prides itself on being a friendly gathering open to all responsible and like-minded individuals, regardless of background or country, with a keen sense of humour and freedom for individuals to do what they like, rather than being shoehorned into certain set 'loadouts' for the sake of a lifeless 'team identity'.
Within the team, members are free to form sub-teams. For example, DET-13 (North West US) and Team BAM (Atlanta-area, USA) allow members to train and play both under their own banners, and that of Team SNAFU.
Years on from it's foundation, the team remains as lively, welcoming and diverse as ever. We trust that you will enjoy finding out about the team as much as we enjoy being a part of it.
